Vicente Del Bosque is still regrettable absence of Carles Puyol and David Villa

Spanish architect Vicente del Bosque is still lamenting the unavailability of Carles Puyol and David Villa, Euro 2012. Absence of the two retainer Barcelona Del Bosque was regarded as a major problem for La Furia Roja with ambitions to retain the title.

Puyol was forced to increase the operating table with a knee injury, while Villa failed to recover in time from the tibia bone injury he got since last December. In fact, El Guaje has worked hard to get off to Poland and Ukraine, but the team's top score of states have given up his dream of defending La Furia Roja, some time ago.

"We lost two key players. Puyol one of them. He was a leader, outstanding defender," said Del Bosque.

"The Role of Villa in the tournament and very valuable. He became a top score of us for several years, so this is a great loss.

"His body language is very good as told me he was not ready to appear, but without the Villa we lost a very important player," Del Bosque said.

"Now I have five different players to the position of striker: [Fernando] Llorente, [Alvaro] Negredo, [Roberto] Soldado, [Fernando] Torres and Adrian [Lopez]."

"They are very different from the Villa - and each other. I'll pick the best players we need, the player that best matches the team," he concluded.
